I have a patch of thin skin on my arm that I rubbed. With the silicone bandage I was able to keep the bandage on for seven days and when we took it off it didn't come off with the new skin growth. It occupies an area of 2" x 6" and has a well-adhered bezel. I use stretch wrap over it to protect it and I can shower with it on. This is the best bandage I've ever used.
