I use bar soap on my body, face and hair but I confess I am always confused by the body/face/hair combination . I can use body and face soap together, but I can't help but be careful when using it on my hair as well. This is partly because my hair is really long and healthy, so I'm very careful about what I use on it. However, I opened the box and immediately smelled it. It smells amazing. Someone else called it a men's soap because of the smell, and that's just not true. It has a pleasant aroma of cedar with hints of coconut. At least that's what I get. I don't find the scent too masculine, rather neutral. Anyway, I use a mesh shower soap pouch, so I put soap in it and it lathered up really well. My skin became soft and smooth. Then I used it on my hair. My hair was clean and moisturized with no dryness, no residue or greasy feeling afterwards. The current list price is $8.99 for a 7 ounce bar which is cheaper than some of the other body bars I've bought so can't complain about that. That's a fair price. The only thing I'm missing is some hemp oil (I'm a big fan of that), but that's more a matter of taste. Other than that, I can't find anything negative about this soap.
