Yes it is a little smaller than expected and yes the chain is not as thick as I would like but for the price you really can't get a better deal. Paired with flowers and a card, you've got the perfect gift whenever someone needs a ride that really won't break the bank. The cross itself is very beautiful, the silver and gold are very shiny and create a stunning contrast. By the way, I've been waiting to write this review as our daughter wears it almost like a daily garment and still keeps it, so we're surprised and very happy. Just don't work with him at the gym!
