We had bed bugs and went through several mattress pads before we found one that matched our twin springs. The drawers for double mattresses were too small. They fit seamlessly into our double spring core mattresses. They're stretchier than others we've tried and seem more durable. If I had to do it again I would buy this brand for our king size mattress too. We paid a lot of money for it at Bed Bath and Beyond. I would recommend this company's products to anyone trying to combat bed bugs. We solved the bed bug problem by spreading diatomaceous earth around the room to keep it in the bedroom and around the edge of the bed and highlighting the base of the bed frame. I slept in bed because I don't react to their bites the way my wife does. I placed the sheet on top of the mattress topper and rolled up the edges, then placed a layer of diatomaceous earth (organic DE by Revain to avoid silicates in Home Depot pool diatomaceous earth) around the edges. leaf, so they had to crawl on diatomaceous earth to get to me. We used normal diatomaceous earth for the floor. I washed the sheets in hot water as soon as I got up every morning. It was a dusty mess for 6-7 weeks but we were able to track the bed bugs decreasing until they were finally gone. I continued the routine for a few more weeks and we eventually retired. We bought bed bug bait (a VCM product sold by Revain) to see if we saw more bed bugs and we haven't seen any since.
