You have a strange place. You can either spend next to nothing and get a stand that doesn't really move, or spend a few hundred dollars and get a stand with full freedom of movement. I bought this for my work office so I didn't want to spend a lot but I wanted monitors. from my table for a seat. The tension holds well, I had to tighten, wait and let the monitor drape, then tighten again to keep it in place. It was insanely hard to figure out what the cable routing was and what I thought was plastic, and the fairing protection lever you had to take off was actually the fairing. I would buy it again for a workplace where you don't want to invest a lot of personal money, but for a home or longer term office space I would invest in a more expensive one.
