This is a well-made umbrella with a well-designed compatibility function, but the inner metal frame is very sharp. I should have listened to other reviews. For such a big quality brand it's quite surprising that this aspect of product design is coming to market. The umbrella's teeth on the inside will get stuck in anything - hair, hats, etc., and the METAL BANDS ARE SO SHARP THEY CAN EASILY CUT SKIN. They are not covered with paint or anything. I would return it but the next morning I drove off in a terrible rain. Unfortunately I love this brand but after seeing the umbrellas at REI and how good the interior design is I was SUPER LOVED.
