The wide width fits exactly. Lots of velcro on the strap to make it really adjustable. The shoes have creases, but I expected that with patent leather trim. It's just wrinkled, not torn or anything. Although they have memory foam insoles, arch support is lacking. I know young children don't have fully developed arches, but keep that in mind, especially if you're ordering a plus size.
