My fan would not turn off even with the engine/ignition off. I had to pull the fuse under the hood to keep the battery from draining. I did some research online and this part of the drag was listed for sharing. I was able to find it locally for 2x or more but decided to save $ based on the reviews here. This product solved my problem. If you have the right tools, this is a quick install, about 15 minutes. If your vehicle has an original module, you will need to adapt the supplied wiring harness, this may take an additional 30 minutes. I bought my used Escalade '06 in 2013 and found that my resistor had already been replaced before I received my SUV with a similar aftermarket module so the wiring harness was already installed. The previous replacement lasted at least 5 years and hopefully this one will last as well. I will update this review if it comes out within a year or so.
