First off, Max is a super rescue mix, so he weighs 33 pounds for his height. He's wearing a big one in his Thunder shirt (gained 5 pounds and can't wear M anymore lol). This is XL. I ordered another striped sweatshirt from them and it was too loose in size XXL, but size XL fits well too. So the size suits this company. Again, I wash cold and air dry. I love the quality of this product! It will shrink a little in the first wash (like most things) so wash cold and DO NOT DRY! Simply hang up to air dry. This has a thick fur/fleece lining on the inside and 4-5 strong buttons in the stomach area. It has drawstrings that pull part of the hoodie together but you can take it out or tuck the ends in. Max wore it for several days right next to the cold spot we had here. He loves to!
