Received this from our wedding registry to use to store dog treats on the counter. Overall I'm very happy with it, but it's not as big as I was hoping and you have to leave a decent amount of room in the opening for the "POP" mechanism to work properly, which ultimately makes the inside storage somewhat smaller. I plan to buy a larger one to use for dog treats and use that size for human treats instead. Having not eaten human food from them I can't comment on how fresh the food is kept in there - the dogs don't seem to think there is anything wrong with the milk bones I keep there. , but they kiss ass, so take their opinion with a pinch of salt.
