My daughter chose this for her communion because she wanted simplicity, not ostentation. It was very cute but not to the bottom like in the picture but just below the knee. I followed the measurements and otherwise the size was just right. The material was like chiffon but not as thin and a bit see-through. I could see her underwear. You will probably need a bug. We wanted a simple one, but it wasn't enough for First Communion.
