Much better than the OEM Surface Charger! More compact and I can use it to charge two other devices. Or I can't use the Surface cable at all and it's just a regular charger. for 3 devices. The OEM surface charger is more like a laptop charger with a detachable power cable inside the brick and the surface cable is permanently attached to the other end of the brick. This charger is much more versatile. no problems for me so far.
