I have bought several versions of these lights. They were the cheapest in terms of cost, but that only made them better. I first used them for Christmas decorations, I loved the different lighting modes so much they inspired me some great ideas for costume accessories. I made 2 internally lit disco ball necklaces out of these for dance nights and they turned out better than I could ever hope for. They run 4-5 hours on a small portable power bank and I mostly power them. The only downside I've noticed is that when using two sets for the same setup, the timing of the lighting schemes isn't consistent. This is particularly noticeable in random mode when all settings are looped through. They will sync for a few seconds and then sync will noticeably turn off. Not much, but that's how it is. With that in mind, I plan to purchase more and more as I continue to make custom costume accessories that glow. The brightness and brightness of these lights is incredible. You'll be happy with it, I'm sure. The remote control is quite large, but it is not needed. There is a button on the USB end of the cable that allows you to switch between templates without using the remote control. You will need a USB cube plugged into a wall/cigarette lighter socket or a USB portable power bank as it has no battery compartment. I really prefer this setup over the huge battery options. Enjoy!
