The glass base is thick and strong. I'd like a few more feet for the middle of the long edges just for extra support when propping my feet up on the base that sits under my desk. The assembly instructions are clear and enough screws are included for VESA mounting. No complaints, great stand. If you move the monitor to a different arm position, make sure you fold down the bottom before lifting. My wife helped me choose the correct vertical position, but on the first try we found that she lifted the monitor straight up, causing the tabs to catch on the rails instead of disengaging. It is imperative to tilt the bottom of the monitor away from the mounting plate before removing it from the hanging loops.
