Top does not fit flush Chloe Fineman

Good to have a filter but I also added bubbles for my fish. Despite the bubble tube, the filter and tank top do not fit flush so there is a 2 inch gap that is driving me nuts! Actually, I would have to cut the plastic to fit, which I don't want to do. But the changing colors and special colors that you can make shine in the aquarium are great!
