Review on Wadoy 5-in-1 Fish Tank Cleaner Kit: Quick Water Changing, Sand and Gravel 🐠 Cleaning, Algae Scraper, Water Flow Controller, Extendable Pipe – Aquarium Gravel Cleaner for Efficient Cleaning by Tiffany Williams

It has some really wonderful things about it and. (with pictures)

I just so happened to get a new 20 gallon aquarium and was about to buy an aquarium cleaner. I was offered this Wadoy 5-in-1 tank cleaner which cost $14.98 at the time of review. I started using it and here are my thoughts. There are many great things about this air purifier, some of which work better than others. First I'm going to talk about the fact that I'm NOT a fan. This air purifier is easy to assemble, which unfortunately also means it's easy to fall apart (more on that below). There is a butterfly valve (the white plastic piece with a t-hole in my photos) that fits over the hose and restricts flow. The hose (bucket or sink side of this setup) that this cleaner comes with is SUPER soft/flexible making it super easy to restrict the flow just with your fingers. I don't need a piece. Since the hose is very flexible, it can also be easily bent. While the push button siphon starter is a great idea, I tried operating it with my thumb - too awkward and I couldn't get to it fast enough so most people have to pump it with my other hand until it starts. , again a bit awkward and it took me more than the 3-5 times they advertise which I think is fine. My 20 gallon height just needs a hard inlet that goes into the tank which is good, the seaweed scraper attachment is another BIG idea but it kept falling into the tank so I used it by hand a bit and was not impressed with its effectiveness compared to a single blade scraper. It was a bummer, I thought that was the most exciting part. The inlet pipe is a little wide, be careful of small fish. What I like: Once you start the siphon, it works fine. I'm SUPER happy with the bucket mount - partly because of the way it has to be guided (otherwise the hose would probably come out of the bucket) and also because it makes it easier to work with two hands, one hand cleans in the tank, which others control the flow with a hose, eyes following a fish like hawks. The inlet pipe has a small filter inside. So if you *catch* small fish, they won't get into the rest of the hose, but it's best to catch them as soon as possible. This will also prevent large pieces of gravel from getting into the hose, but small debris can pass. With some small tweaks, this could be a really great siphon. Anyway, I think I just prefer the pipe/hose/ball installation for now.

Pros
  • 1.5 in 1 Multifunctional: This gravel cleaning kit can safely help the aquarium change water, flush sand, absorb feces, rake sand and clean algae.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
