Short circuit in signal and emergency lights

After 3 months one of the indicators stays on while the others flash. Sounds like a short in the wiring. Probably my fault. Yes, I found that the screw I installed punched through the wiring. I fixed it. He's back to work. It seems to be a very good design. Such a short circuit could burn out the electronics.
