Adds A Laptop Feel To Your IPad Pro

I’ve had experience with similar keyboards for the iPad Pro, so there was little hesitation when I decided to purchase this keyboard.I have a similar Chesona keyboard for an iPad Pro 10.5, and although it was nice and functional, it too heavy for regular use. This keyboard case (iPad Pro 12.5) is fairly light, it puts you in the mind of a lightweight Mead Trapper Keeper. There is a magnetic latch, so that when you’re traveling with the case, you feel like your iPad would be safe, if you were to drop it.I love that it’s backlit. I love that it’s backlit with multiple colors. I’m a big kid. The trackpad, I don’t use as much, but it worked well when I did use it. However, I had to disable it, because you can accidentally hit it, and it will mess up your cursor position. It’s easy to disable however. The keyboard has all the traditional shortcut keys that you’re used to, like that of a standard laptop keyboard. You can also control the volume, fwd, rev, play, pause, and iPad brightness, etc, directly from the keyboard . The keyboard doesn’t feel cheap either. I had no issues typing on it and I didn’t feel like it was too small. It’s a decent size without being overpowering. Here are some drawback that may be of interest.1) There aren’t multiple positions that you can place the iPad in with the case attached. There’s only one position, and it works fine for me, but may be a concern for others. Typically, these types of cases have 3 positions.2) For some reason, the flap that you pull open to get the iPad in position, like a typical laptop, is flush with the back of the case. I find myself trying to remember exactly how to pull it down. There’s a notch there, but there’s some type of awkward folding, that boggles my mind. Might not be an issue for you, but it’s both intuitive and not intuitive at the same time. Finally, the price is nice. I wouldn’t ever shell out the money for officially branded Apple accessories, so having the ability to purchase a worthy competitor at half the price, was perfect.Overall, I would recommend the Touchpad keyboard case, if you’re a student, or just a person that needs the laptop feel with your iPad Pro, without actually having a laptop.
