The best wireless solution

I absolutely hate cables. I've recently started my return to school and most of my classes are online so I've been gradually buying things for a dual monitor setup. I am using Microsoft Surface 7pro with Dell as second display. I have a WD external hard drive, a Logitech mouse and keyboard, and another HP all-in-one with an HP remote mouse and keyboard combo. I obviously hate how many cables and adapters I had, and the inordinate number of mice and keyboards on my desk, let alone switching between them, which is why I found this keyboard. It allows you to connect two different Bluetooth-enabled devices, plus an extra USB dongle just in case. (So you can connect up to three devices at the same time). There's a bunch of keys you can use to switch between them, so you don't have to disconnect, reconnect, search, or download software. I'm not sure how far you can go before he gets in trouble, but I'll honestly always be about 4-6 inches from him, so it doesn't bother me. Right out of the box it was 90% charged. (comes with a USB charging cable) and connected easily to my Surface. No software to download. It comes with a silicone keyboard cover, which I don't usually need, but I have acrylic nails to keep them from sliding over the keys while typing. In addition, the keys are quiet. So if you like the tapping sound, I'd point out that it's relatively quiet due to the soft-hit mechanism built into the keys. I found them extremely responsive with no sticky or lift lag when typing. The layout and look is sleek and minimalist, and it makes sense. To be honest, this is the lightest and thinnest keyboard I've ever owned and I've played through my share of regular wireless keyboards from Microsoft to Logitech and other keyboards from other manufacturers. I can easily put it on my lap and lean back for long lectures because I can still access everything I need right on the keyboard (volume, mute, brightness, part of the number keys). It is very light, not bulky or bulky. I plan on traveling for work so I'm thrilled that it feels so portable. Amazing response with both bluetooth connection and dongle. My surface connects via Bluetooth and I don't have any latency issues, the only thing is I just "wake up" my keyboard by selecting the Bluetooth 1 connection on the keyboard when I start my computer, but it stays that way all the time with no problems when I use it. My lectures last about an hour and a half and I haven't noticed the keyboard going to sleep when I'm not typing, but I'll update if I notice it. I use this keyboard between my Surface and my HP All in One which needs a dongle as it's an old computer with no Bluetooth connections. Setup was just as easy, just plug and play. Switching between my Surface and HP was flawless and there seemed to be no lag at all. Keep in mind that I'm using the Hello function to unlock my Surface, so I'm testing the keyboard connection without turning the computer fully on to see if there's a problem entering passwords to unlock my device . HP, where I use a PIN to sign in and a keyboard ding, have no problem typing right away as long as I have a key selected. I used it for about a week and a half with an 8-9 hour workday. and it says it has about 47% battery left (this will let you know when you check the bluetooth connection). I didn't charge it at all so I'm happy with the battery life and know I can only charge it occasionally instead of buying batteries. This keyboard not only shared a USB port, but also shared two keyboards, so I'm very satisfied and happy to keep using it. I'll update my review in a few months and let you know if my first impression holds up.
