Revainrating 4 out of 5

Amazing design, easy to use, great deal but a few disappointing features

Most importantly, it's a great deal at $14 including shipping. This is the real result. But there are some minor annoyances, so read on if you're picky about your clock radio. I've been living with this item for a few days now and the experience of the finished use has been amazing: the ease of setup and intuitive use is near perfect and is amazing when you are well thought out. Draft. And there are plenty of user-friendly features, as others have pointed out - lithium(!) battery backup already installed in case of power failure, easy to set up dual alarms, selectable display brightness settings, very easy radio or buzzer setting to wake you up. to, the overall usability in general. My only disappointments are minor for me but might be a handicap for others so I report here: 1] This is definitely not for those who like amazing sound for a clock radio part - the sound is metallic and almost annoying for a rock or pop stations, although I've found it also sounds good on classical or light jazz stations (especially without vocals, piano or orchestral music) - it's safe to say you won't be listening to this radio for long for pleasure - but it is good for short periods and for awakening; 2] The "buzzer" of the alarm clock is too quiet and too high. So if you're a heavy sleeper or have a severe hearing loss and don't use the radio to wake you up to miss that signal, however, it's perfect for those who want a quiet buzzer wake-up call and are all sweet and polite: start with a few soft beeps that get louder as the minutes go by; 3] Using the radio as an alarm clock solves the problem of the buzzer being too quiet, but note that in the event of a power outage while sleeping, the default buzzer will be used as a backup battery alarm; and 4] As with most clock radios, the AM/PM indicators are glowing dots next to a painted AM/PM sign making it impossible to know if the clock is set to AM/PM in a dark room, which is annoying, if you're resetting the alarm in the dark - Ideally, backlit readings should include illuminated AM/PM in addition to the time display. Finally, in the ongoing debate about checking display brightness, I've found that the lowest setting is for both sleeping in a darkened room (not too bright, but visible if you wake up briefly to check the time) and for daytime use is ideal - it still was visible in the dark. fairly bright room.
