I wanted to write a review because I am SO impressed with this food. My dachshund/beagle mix has been in wellness for most of her life. He seems to have a bird problem and it's very difficult to find feed without poultry ingredients. Before I sent him to the wellness class, we tried so many foods that most of them resulted in digestive problems. Wellness is a high-value food, but the kibbles are large and contain more calories. My boy ate the pieces whole without chewing, so he couldn't digest them well, which could be seen in his faeces. He also seemed to be gaining weight. This meal is great because the sea mix and red meat mix have no poultry products and he wasn't frustrated with the switch. The pieces are small and easy to digest. His droppings are small and hard and it's great that I have to clean up after him. I'm grateful and glad he took it so well. He even seems more energetic and playful. Good food can change everything. If you're looking for a grain-free, poultry-free dog food, stop looking and give this one a try. My only complaint is please make it more accessible! I can't find nude products in stores and especially sea I prefer. I really hope this company continues to grow and be able to better market their naked food.
