I'm pretty sure they deserve more than just being powered by my line out on my computer motherboard and (high quality) streaming on Spotify. If this is normal quality for $50 headphones, I'll have to ditch the speakers altogether and just switch to headphones for easy listening. As you spend more time with them you might be able to spot their flaws, but so far they sound great. Midbass and especially bass. Very clean, tight and powerful with a "chewy" texture similar to what B&W speakers sound like IMO. I don't think I can see the top registers as I don't have better gear. I also agree that unfortunately they do get a bit uncomfortable after a while, but I don't think it's worse than one would expect. It would be nice if L/R was labeled. This was a somewhat confusing setup.
