I bought this because it was cheap and it fit on my desk so I wasn't expecting anything special. The stand is good, solid, unobtrusive, great for raising my monitor. Plus, the drawer is handy for storing sticky notepads, pens, and more. The only thing that really bothers me is the lack of any padding on the bottom of the legs. The hard plastic slides very easily on my desk and will definitely scratch wood or slide off the table when hit, taking my monitor with it. Luckily I had sticky felt furniture pads, but it would have been better if the riser had rubber leg pads.
