Good except for the corner straps
Protects our mattress well and provides extra padding. First, I sleep warm, and while this advertises cooling effects, I still get a bit overheated and wake up easily as a result. Keep in mind that a more insulated mattress topper is likely to be worse. My only objective issue is that the straps, which should be snug against the mattress, slip off too easily and I have to adjust the sheets frequently. However, it is practical and works for our needs at the moment.
