I bought it to use as a system information display in my computer. The included screws and coasters made the job very easy - I just hot glued the ends of the coasters together and applied to the surface. The display quality is better than I expected. Colors are accurate and smooth. However, I would like the display to turn off automatically when it's not receiving a video signal. Because the USB power cable is plugged into an external USB-A port, even when the system is in sleep mode, it receives phantom power over USB and stays on with a "NO SIGNAL" message. It doesn't really matter, I just enabled ErP in the BIOS and could therefore turn off the display by putting the system to sleep, but I really wish they had made it turn off automatically. In addition, the supplied cables are very short. I understand it was made for use on the Raspberry Pi, but wish they included longer HDMI and USB cables or extenders. Luckily I had a longer HDMI cable and a USB extension cable so it wasn't a disaster. Overall I think this is a really good mini screen for general use. While it has some downsides, I would recommend it to people who do DIY projects or just want to customize how system information is displayed like me.
