Bought for my 3.1l 97 jeep tj. I configured and removed the cat. I hooked up a standard 2.25" muffler to this muffler and it is loud from 2000-2500 rpm. Idling and deceleration are not bad, as is 3000 rpm and more, but any ride at speeds from 2 to 25 thousand is embarrassing! I'll try it. Resonance chamber to see if I can get the volume down to an acceptable level. There is an app in the Google Play Store to design a tuned Helmholtz resonator for any desired frequency. You just need to analyze the exhaust frequency from 2,000 to 25,000 rpm. and fan 1. Not ideal, but should help. It will make the exhaust flow better but the entire EFI system needs to be retuned, fuel and spark, for this change in my exhaust as it was taking quite a bit of power through the board I will post an update after the if possible Resonator was manufactured and installed.
