In our humid climate, absorbent coasters are the only way out. They work great, absorbing every drop of moisture and condensation. The design goes well with our beach house, we have more green/blue but I like that they are more blue just to add some extra color. Absorbent pads also tend to absorb stains like red wine, so you'll need something with a pattern to cover up those stains. I was able to remove some stains by using a mild bleach scrub or spraying them with Oxyclean and exposing them to the sun. The only downside to these coasters is that they are fragile so probably not ideal for sitting on if you have young children around. On some types of glassware with raised interiors, condensation can create a vacuum effect, and coasters are sometimes included when you pick up your glass. This rarely happens, but I've encountered this problem in the past. All in all, I highly recommend these pads and they are reasonably priced.
