I bought two skirts for my 12 (almost 13 years old) twins. I bought a large size but they were too small. So I bought more big ones thinking they would have a lot of space. They just fit. My girls are of average height and weight, if not below average, if not below average for their age. Both are considered slim and athletic girls who dance and do gymnastics. will not. The fabric and waist feel thin and cheaper than I expected for the price. It's so hard to find modest, pretty clothes for young girls these days that I'll keep them to myself and just not bother with them anymore. But I'm a little disappointed. Maybe find a model that doesn't look like a Baby'O wand and upgrade the quality of your materials. If you can do it, it might be worth the price.
