Very good backpack! Perfect size! A must-have for any backpack, its dual zips provide easy access to your belongings. The zigzag ribbing on the front is perfect for keeping your windbreaker/raincoat secure. The shoulder straps are very comfortable. (Three minor cons: The side water bottle/umbrella pockets are too narrow, and the mesh material of the pockets could be stronger. A 12-ounce can of soda would be very narrow (*8-inch circumference is about the size of a Red Bull energy drink can).Your bag is on the floor.Finally, a suggestion to the manufacturer: add a fleece-lined front pocket for easy storage of the sunglasses.) UPDATE: Took the dipsea backpack for a short hike. It was very comfortable and the perfect size. for a few essentials, snacks and drinks. The external elastic cord easily held my jacket in place. 👍
