I got this for my portable music gear that I take with me (focusrite-solo and novation mkIII mini), it fits both sets by default without being supplied must application. With that in mind, setting up a lock for your own combination might be easier. You need to hold down the reset button while changing the code. And the number counter is not easy to manipulate or see what number you have by holding down the reset button. Anyway it worked, more durable and cheaper than the Kensington. Oh, and it didn't originally work with my new Dell, so it's NOT compatible with wedgelocks without using the included bracket.
