Review on Durablow MFB008-A Fireplace Blower Fan Unit - Replaces Monessen, Martin, Majestic & Vermont Casting CFM BLOT/BLOTMC by William Lara

The blower in my Lopi pellet stove went out. I found the EOM compatible part for much more than this very similar unit. I decided to get this and hope it would work. The Durablow blower is very modular and has the exact same pattern of mounting screws as my old blower. Plot twist, even though I thought I had checked the picture carefully I found that the motor is mounted to the opposite site. The blower is secured by screws (the Lopi motor was secured by crimped tabs) and can be mounted on the other end with a little work. It's missing a screw hole on the other side to exactly match up so you need to tap a new hole to secure it. After I did this I mounted it in my stove and it's working perfectly.
