It was easier to manipulate/use than I expected, although it requires two hands (of course). I myself was able to use it on my back, neck, legs and arms without any problems. Honestly, in my opinion, it does not have a great therapeutic effect. I didn't have a very significant massage sensation, especially in relation to the effort expended. The wooden blocks are rounded so it doesn't hurt at all and they mostly roll normally if you do this on clothes. They tend to stop rolling when you use them on bare skin and I don't know why. My big problem, however, is dexterity. As you can see from my photos the wood pieces are a little torn/roughly constructed and even the drilled holes are chipped, cracked and jagged. The device is covered in a thin layer of clear shellac, but it's still not particularly smooth or sanded well. However, the center metal bar is strong and durable, and no one expected it to bend or fall apart.
