The color is not as bright as the picture - not as bright purple. It's a lot darker. It is very tight around the chest and the dress is quite long. I'm 5'6" and it fell to the floor. In the wedding photo I was wearing ballet flats because my cousin, sister and fiancee are shorter than me. The length was perfect for me with 3 inch heels. My cousin and my sisters are about 2" shorter - and it dragged - they were wearing heels - and it still dragged a bit. The material is amazing - and I would suggest this is the perfect church/wedding dress for winter. Be careful if you have animals or bump into something - the dress will snag on anything which means you need a lint roller. And finally - bra size 36H / 38G - fits into most shirts I wear size L (12 -14).I have a size 16/18 pant - I bought XL in a dress.The natural gradient makes it sit perfectly on the hip.It was tight in the chest and natural in the waist (the pictures show her without a thong which gives a more flattering look ben would) - I think it fits my size perfectly. The neckline was higher than expected - not a plunging neckline - perfect for a church dress/formal event. My sister is 32 DDD - she wears size 10 pants. In the dress she wore a large size - it fit her too - I would go one size up for the bust than for the hips - ie if you have smaller or fuller hips – the shape of the dress hides this. Mainly focus on the girth of the chest and waist. The material is supple and the longer you wear it, the more comfortable it becomes. This is a very pretty dress that is easy to wear on special occasions.
