I've tried everything to get the musty smell out of an antique dresser. Nothing worked. I tried these - left them in boxes for a long time (a few months - mostly because I forgot). It smelled slightly musty so I put new Fresh Wave bags in it. I assume this will get rid of the remaining musty smell. I've also used them in dress drawers for some freshness. That works great.
