I have already bought this case/protector twice. The first time for my new dining table and the second time as a cover for my pool table. I like the padding on both as it offers a bit more protection. It's better for a pool table because we have a ping pond cover that we use on it and it's very heavy and vice versa so with the cover it's unlikely to have marks on it. It's heavier than our previous cover which ended up peeling off because it was thin. It does the job a lot better.
