Very easy to assemble even for me an incompetent woman! All you have to do is pull it out to the length you want and twist to tighten! No tool! It's also very durable and works fantastic! I had no problems with it moving or sliding down. The ends hold up really well. Sorry I have yet to remove one of the labels from my photo lol! I recommend this shower curtain rod for shower, bathtub, closet curtain rod, etc. It's really good price and good quality. It arrived quickly and was nicely packaged. It's also super adjustable! It goes much longer (and by the way also much shorter) than shown in my picture. My tub/shower is, I would say, standard size. If you need a longer shower rail I think this will suit you. I used to have a "fancy" shower rod from the bathroom, and besides, it was a lot more expensive than this one. It was garbage and it kept falling. Sometimes simple is better! It's nothing out of the ordinary, but it certainly does a great job!
