PHOTO OF THE OLD MODEL AND THIS BELOW! I really wanted to like this product because I've had the black cable (no backlight) for ages and have never had a single problem with it. One of the things I liked about the spacebar was that it was split. Now I've ignored all the feedback on how these buttons stick. I received it today. I've experienced sticky right spacebar before. Compared to the Black Wired version, I noticed almost no resistance when pressing the space bar with this version. When I removed the spacebar, I noticed that Perixx did NOT incorporate any metal stabilizing brace that holds the key in place. Available in the version with black wire. The funny thing is that there is room to place the metal pins and grooves under the key, but there are NO pins. It's a pretty crappy design. I have NEVER owned a keyboard that was missing a metal stabilizing spring. Here are some photos to prove it. Now if by some odd twist of fate I receive a model missing two separate ones I will replace it but that looks like a refund with a strong recommendation against it.
