Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Glorious GMMK Modular Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Barebone Edition: Compact 60% Size With DIY Assembly, RGB LED Backlit & Hot Swap Switches by Darren Cole

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This keyboard reminded me of a keyboard you could buy at the dollar store

I definitely didn't like this keyboard even after all the mods I could think of. Sounds terrible, it's better to dip the inside of the body in a bed for cushioning, as there is no place for foam. Aluminum is cheap and bad. Most importantly, the tolerance on the key switch holes is too loose. Removing the keycaps removes your switch, which is already putting a lot of strain on the hot-swap sockets. This means that if you frequently just change keycaps, you'll still end up with a busted board sooner than normal because your switches are still coming out anyway. Spend a few extra dollars and buy something under $100 if you really want to buy it. I wouldn't recommend it, but if you got it for free, or just overpriced, or whatever, then it's not worth it.
