Please Read Before Buying. Like many other buyers, I received what appeared to be USED and UNCLEAN hair clippers. I thought if I ordered direct from Revain I would be convinced of the new product but obviously I was wrong. As with the others, the sticker on the front of the clipper had been rubbed off in places and the silver trim was riddled with scratches. I thought it might have happened during shipping with loose accessories rattling in the box, but upon inspection the blades were completely dirty! The blades of a new hair clipper should not be pre-lubricated with oil. So imagine my surprise when I ran my thumb over the bare blades and felt a gritty, oily coating. The grit is caused by dander left by the last dog that used this clipper. This means that not only have these clippers been used, they have not even been sterilized before being repackaged with fresh attachments and a new pair of scissors. Completely unsanitary, unsafe and I couldn't be more disappointed. Luckily, Revain took care of everything and instead I bought the Wahl Professional Animal Deluxe U-Clip Pet Clipper #9484-300 Dog, Cat, and Pet Grooming Kit. UCLIP was brand new and worked great.
