A little big for a tall 4.5 year old boy but not too big to wear now to get the best out of them. Feels very smooth and sporty - looks much better than regular thin stretch knit gloves. Black color looks good. The 4.5 year old was very excited and pumped up to wear gloves to school and recess. The unisex color and look make them a great gift for anyone. A good gift for a practical item. Overall I would recommend them.
