So glad I found this long leash! I had a thinner one that cut my hands when my dog walked off the leash, especially when he noticed I wasn't paying attention. My dog is an 85 pound muscular half Labrador half Rhodesian Ridgeback. He is a STRONG dog. With an advantage that big, the difference in how I can handle his run and his comeback is amazing. We use him for recall training and just run him across the large field when a leash is needed. If the weather permits, I will also be able to use it for hiking. I can wrap it around my waist a few times and use the second clip to attach the backpack. The length is perfect, it's strong, durable and feels comfortable in the hand. Excellent value for money and quality
