I have a big head and most removable hats slip off immediately. this stays in place. The fleece lining is super soft and the bandana is perfect for that exposed spot. I hate it when lightning rubs my chin. Warm up to -20? I do not know. But that's normal at 30 degrees. yes it is acrylic I've had wool hats that scratched so badly it was unbearable. And the wind went through the cotton. So I don't care I want to be at TEPA and with this hat and scarf I am sure that I will stay that way.
