I just wanted a simple black sun hat.This one has so many problems. First it is not lightweight or "straw" as stated in the description. Compared to other similar sunhats it is very heavy. It is made of plastic, definitely not straw. The plastic is a bit shiny as well. The potential for sun protection is poor, as the plastic fabric is loosely woven - lots of sunlight shines through, you can basically see through the hat - it's more like a screen than a solid fabric.Lastly, as others have noted the hat arrives folded up and has deep creases as a result, the brim is wavy, not flat like the photos.
