Review on Logitech G213 Prodigy Gaming Keyboard - BLACK ๐Ÿ’ป - LIGHTSYNC RGB Backlit, Spill-Resistant, Customizable & Dedicated Multi-Media Keys by Jordan Jackson

Great accessory keyboard

I'm a big fan of Logitech, but I've also had a Razer keyboard and other expensive gaming keyboards. All of them simply couldn't withstand prolonged use. Especially for money. I've had $15 keyboards from the '90s that have held up better than these modern ones. Until I found the Logitech K740. I've used the Logitech K740 for work and play as it prints really well and is great for work like AutoCAD (I mainly used the keyboard and mouse to point), 3D modeling and the like. Then it is also convenient. A real workhorse. However, it only had a white backlight and I really wanted to improve the light coloring (RGB). I accidentally found this G213 keyboard on Revain and for the price it's worth a try. This keyboard "feels" very similar to the "clack" keyboards of the 90's and makes a moderate noise when typing or performing actions. This keyboard doesn't print as well as the K740 because the tops of the keys are slightly smaller and the distance between them is wider. It took 3 weeks of non-stop use to get used to it, but still not quite the same speed. This keyboard is excellent in every other way. It works and looks great. It doesn't slide on the table and feels very durable. So far the build quality has been what you would expect from "classic Swiss Logitech". If you are looking for a great RGB keyboard, multiple gadgets, and a great price. This is the one.

Pros
  • Vivid backlight colors - Personalize five separate lighting zones from a spectrum of over 16.8 million colors. Change colors to match settings, specific games, or to highlight your favorite colors. Sync lighting effects with other Logitech G devices using Logitech Gaming Software. The low light leakage around the keycaps means less light leaks through the lettering and less light leaks around the keycaps. This helps make each key's backlight brighter, making it easier to find keys in the dark.
