I have 2 boys, 5 and 7 years old. Both tear shoes, whether cheap or expensive. They hold up better than Shoe Dept and look great! When they get dirty or splattered, I just toss them in a mesh laundry bag and run them through the washer and dryer. Even after a few months they still wear like new. So far they've tried dark gray with black, light brown with red, dark brown with orange, and light gray with white. The light gray ones are the hardest to keep clean, so they've been machine washed about a dozen times and still look great. I will keep buying them as long as my baby's feet fit in them!
