I bought this to replace the Sistema Us Inc 1917 Klip It cutlery set that I use for my lunch box. The plastic set I had was nice and compact but had a few issues. The spoon was too flat for soup, the knife didn't cut very well, and the dull plastic on the fork didn't stick well to the food. This titanium set is very well made and very light compared to the cutlery set in my kitchen drawer. The knife can cut things where the plastic knife I used couldn't cut through flesh. The spoon is deep enough to drink soup. The set is very light and includes a carabiner to keep everything together. It's about the same weight as the previous set but much more functional. Titanium is very resistant to rust and although it can be bent with some force, you can bend it back. The only downside for me would be the price, but I feel like I'm getting a quality product for what I paid for. Buying boxes of disposable cutlery works, but they're not as durable as titanium, and the cost easily pays for itself after a year. It's more than twice the price of the plastic sistema kit I have, but works better. On my lunch break, I want to relax and eat instead of worrying about whether my knife can cut through food or trying to sip soup with a flat spoon.
