I told my daughter that when I was little we had pom poms on the ankles of our first walkers to keep our socks from riding up in our boots. She didn't believe me that such a thing existed. They used to be everywhere, in the 70's. These are fantastic, high quality, comfortable socks with a comfy, memorable pom pom to keep them out of the shoe. We are very happy with them!
