Some of us have had an Xbox with the original power adapter in the original location since day one. You would think that a replacement power adapter would match the length of the original's cord to a power outlet and connection to the Xbox. This doesn't even come close to the original in both lengths. So if you're expecting this power supply to have the same cord length as the Microsoft OEM, forget it. That means that if you have an Xbox in your entertainment closet, you'll have to move things around to get power. I don't have a problem with the power supply itself, but if you are replacing the power supply for the Xbox 360 Slim, you'd better not skimp on the length of the cables, as users need that length to reach the installation site. Connect to the back of the Xbox and reach the place where it is connected. If I find a power supply with the original cable length, I'll send it back.
