I have a lot of EC cubes. but wanted to put a set in my small backpack in case of need. They're light, strong and really work. The only criticism is that you have to be careful when closing the compression zipper, otherwise the fabric will get caught in the zipper. If I push the fabric back in front of the zipper while tucking it in with my finger, everything works fine. It compresses 3/4 full cubes pretty well. of course it depends on how compressible the objects in it are.
