I had Tifosi Jet sunglasses in a bike accident. My head and face hit the concrete wall at about 15 miles an hour. In addition to other injuries, I had cuts above and below one eye that required stitches and were probably the result of the sunglasses being pressed against my face, but the point is the lenses aren't shattered - if they say they are Lenses are unbreakable, they mean it! At some point during the accident, a glass popped out of the frame, but otherwise the frame was more or less intact. When I found the lens on the floor it was very scratched - without these glasses it would have been my eye, full of scratches - the lens did its job of protecting my eye. These are very durable sunglasses and I am now a lifetime buyer - I have already ordered a replacement pair.
